Off-season Activities
Deer Isle is a magical place to be no matter what the season.  Our Autumn foliage is breathtaking.  Walk in the woods, take a boat trip to Isle au Haut, begin the novel you've always wanted to write.  Or bring a bit of serenity to your soul, sit by a fire and watch the Winter snow falling on the harbor.  The island will beckon you back in the Springtime to celebrate our annual Lupine Festival.  The Deer Isle-Stonington Chamber of Commerce hopes you will visit our island and enjoy these special businesses that are open in the "off-season".  Click on the highlighted links for more details and also go to these pages for a list of off-season visitor businesses.
